Edit and Resubmit a Rejected Schedule

If an approver rejects a schedule, LiveIQ sends an email that identifies the Store Number and Week Commencing date for that schedule. The email includes your name, the name of the approver, the Store Number, the Week Commencing date, the comments from the approver, and a link to the schedule.

  1. Use the link in the notification email to open the schedule in LiveIQ.

    The Schedule Status is set to Rejected and a tooltip displays the comments from the approver.

  2. Revise the schedule to address and resolve each comment from the approver.

  3. When you have made all the requested changes, save the schedule.

  4. Click to open the Toggle Menu, and click Request Schedule Approval.

  5. When the confirmation message appears, click Yes.

    LiveIQ generates a schedule approval request email and sends it to the list of users who have permission to approve and publish schedules for the restaurant. LiveIQ also sets the Schedule Status to Awaiting Approval. At this point, you cannot edit the schedule until an approver has taken action on the schedule. LiveIQ notifies you once an approver has acted on your request.

    • If an approver approves the schedule without comments, LiveIQ publishes the schedule.

    • If an approver approves the schedule with comments, you have the opportunity to edit the schedule to resolve the comments.

    • If an approver rejects the schedule, you have the opportunity to edit and resubmit the rejected schedule again.
